YOUR WEDDING DAY
Q: I would like to book you for my wedding. What do I do next?
A: First, please check the Calendar for availability. Dates showing in orange are provisional bookings, while those in red are confirmed booked.
If your date is free, then, by all means, either fill in the query form provided and we’ll get back to you with 48 hrs.
At a convenient time between your booking and the wedding, we will arrange to meet with you for a pre-wedding consult
Q: Do I need to make a deposit?
A: Yes. We generally require a deposit to secure any date. The final payment is then due within 30 days prior to the wedding day.
Q: Who exactly will be doing the photography?
A: When you book with Leafturner, in general, you get both Lisa and Steve for the complete day.
Q: Where are you based, and how far will you travel?
A: In general, we don’t charge travel expenses for weddings or pre-wedding shoots within 25 miles of either of our bases, Preston and Wolverhampton. But for weddings and pre-wedding shoots further afield in the UK there will be an additional charge per mile to cover travel expenses. If the location is more than 2 hours drive from where we live, we will also need either 1 or 2 nights accommodation.
Q: How long do you stay?
A: Generally, this is discussed at the pre-wedding consult and is tailored to each clients needs for the day.
Q: How many photos do you take?
A: Somewhere between 150-200.
Q: How long will we need to wait to see our wedding photos?
A: We usually provide a ‘sneak-peek’ within a week or so, but it can take between 4-6 weeks to sort through, select and edit everything to the highest possible quality, before we give you access to your own, password-protected, online gallery.
Q: Do you photograph Civil Partnerships?
A: Yes, indeed!
Q: Do you require food and beverages on the day?
A: We only require bottled water to be made available throughout the day.

Q: What are your going rates?
A: Our rates vary depending on what kind of photography and session is required, and is tailored to each clients specific needs. From a day-long shoot, to a few hours taking child portraits in your family home. Call to discuss your needs, and we will make arrangements with you.
